Ardeta Search is partnering with a Global Logistics organisation to recruit an Employee Relations Specialist on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role for somebody that has a passion and interest for Employee Relations and a strong focus on Industrial relations.
Your Responsibilities.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues, employment law, and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain a positive industrial relations environment.
- Manage grievance and disciplinary procedures in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Serve as the main liaison between management and trade unions, ensuring effective and transparent communication.
- Lead negotiations and consultations with trade unions on collective bargaining agreements, disputes, and policy changes.
- Monitor industrial relations trends and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, with a strong focus on industrial relations and trade union negotiations. Experience in working with Unite reps is desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and industrial relations legislation.
- Proven experience in collective bargaining and managing industrial disputes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
