Title: Software Engineer - Embedded Linux

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a background in embedded Linux user-space software stack. You will be joining a leading Space company on their space and satellite missions. You will make a real impact on the next generation of computing platforms within the space industry.
Responsibilities:
- Make a direct impact within the space industry helping build a new team
- Work on the design and development of space communication systems.
- Work on Linux embedded systems.
- Design and implement the full software stack, from low level drivers to high-level product applications, predominantly within the Linux user-space environment
Required Experience:
- Bachelors / Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Industry experience within the space, satellite or telecoms sector
- Strong background with embedded Linux
- Experienced with Yocto or Buildroot
- 3-5 years experience working with C and C++
- Bonus: Experience scripting with python or bash
- Bonus: Knowledge of ARM
