The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for an Email Designer to join a successful multi-channel retail chain with over 50 stores and a successful website selling top luxury brands across their digital and physical stores.

Main responsibilities for the Email Designer will involve designing engaging, high performing emails to an exceptionally high standard - from concept to signed off layouts on deadline and on brand.

As the Email Designer, work on regular email newsletters, tactical direct response campaigns and automated journey-led communications. Ensuring emails are designed and built with best practice in mind, that they follow our brand guidelines, are responsive and they render correctly across most used devices. Designing and building emails via Bloomreach platform.

Collaborating with the wider CRM team every day, brainstorming new ways to engage their database and drive traffic to site and stores, informed by customer, business, and trend insight. You’ll also be supporting them with test and learn strategies.

Working closely with content team inspiring and align with their onsite content calendar.

Keeping abreast of any new developments from wider retail and email marketing will be important to inform continuous development and improvement of their email campaigns.

The Ideal Candidate

The Email Designer should have a t least 2 years previous email design experience

Proficiency in industry standard design software, including: Adobe Creative Cloud Apps (Photoshop, InDesign etc). Experience using drag and drop email building software.

Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email creation.

Have a keen eye for detail and knowledge of render testing platforms such as Litmus, Email on Acid and GlockApps etc.

Interest in the luxury jewellery industry.
