Electronics Design Engineer in Aberdeen

Position: Electronics EngineerLocation: Aberdeen Salary: £competitive dependant on salary This role is a perfect blend of technical design, support, and strategic office tasks, aimed at enhancing our product lines and providing stellar customer support. Some offshore and site work will also be required.Key Responsibilities: Serve alongside product engineers as the primary liaison for clients, vendors, and external partners, ensuring smooth project execution.Develop and oversee system modifications, commissioning and maintenance to ensure peak performance.Employ critical thinking to address and resolve on-site challenges effectively.Contribute to the design, setup, and fine-tuning of cutting-edge Fire & Gas detection systems in alignment with international standards.Conduct rigorous testing for both new and existing detection technologies.Interpret and refine system design documents for optimal functionality.Advocate for design improvements based on thorough field evaluations.Champion adherence to global safety and quality protocols.Take on a proactive role in R&D initiatives, contributing to the optimisation of existing and innovation of future products. Team Collaboration: Report directly to the Technical Manager, ensuring strategic alignment with company goals.Collaborate closely with consultants, the procurement team, operations, R&D, and the HSEQA department to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.shaping the future of Fire & Gas detection technologies.
