Our client is a reputable and dynamic company specialising in providing high-quality property maintenance and repair services. They work extensively with social housing and local authority contracts across the East coast, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in social housing and local authority properties within the Scarborough and Whitby areas. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential properties.
  • Conduct periodic testing and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults promptly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed and materials used.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies.

    • Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • Gold ECS card (or working towards).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within social housing or local authority contracts.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence.
