Job description

Introduction:

Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team. This is a contract position with an opportunity to work on maritime naval ships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair duties on naval ships.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other electricians as needed.
  • Complete work orders, log maintenance tasks, and record electrical measurements accurately.

    • Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience as an Approved Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience in performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

    PAYE

    Standard Shift - £17.89

    Night Shift - £23.79

    Weekday and Saturday OT - £26.84

    Sunday - £35.78

    Weekend - £23.79

    Umbrella

    Standard shift - £23.25

    Night Shift - £30.76

    Weekday and Saturday OT - £32.78

    Sunday 43.52

    Weekend - £30.76
