Electrical Project Manager – MV & LV SwitchgearLiverpool / Manchester / Warrington / Chester / Wirral Length of contract: 6 (likely extension)Rate of pay - £400 - £450 per day DOE (Ltd co. outside IR35)MV & LV Power & 3 Phase Distribution / Switchgear/ Project ManagementI am working with a key client in the North West area who are a growing business, that supply their product to the global marketplace.They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support their projects, overseeing MV & LV power and distribution, and offering guidance, direction, and strategic solutions to projects, and ensuring programmes are implemented and can be delivered.For the position of Project Manager, you will require to conduct the following duties:Reporting to the Engineering Director, provide Leadership and guidanceManage MV & LV projects, monitoring and looking at standardsSupport electrical team, consisting of installation engineersStrategic support to day-to-day operationsManaging major key stakeholders internally and externally, including customers and specialist sub-contractorsCompletion of projects through deliveryThe successful Project Manager will need to have the following attributes:Previous hands on electrical experience in engineering capacityHighly knowledgeable in Switchgear & 3 phase powerProven Strategic thinker, problem solverLeadership and project management experienceGet the job done at all cost attitudeStrong communicator at all levels and proactive – a ‘do-er’I.T / computer skills, MS Office / Outlook / MS ProjectsHappy to work on site 5 days per weekThe benefits of this position:Working for a world class organisationHighly challenging & rewarding project management positionOutside IR35 establishedWorking Monday to FridayI am looking to speak to experienced Project Managers with a background in Electrical Switchgear & 3 phase power, ideally from heavy engineering & process environments, who are looking for a rewarding and challenging interim position.
