Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Yeadon

A globally renowned manufacturing business supplying a wide range of high-quality products for the aerospace and defence sectors, is seeking to appoint an electrical biased Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team. This huge facility has superb manufacturing facilities ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will carry out front-line maintenance tasks based upon agreed priorities while being proactive towards daily plant issues and ensuring machine safety standards are kept to the highest level.Responsibilities for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer include -Performing scheduled tasks on plant and machinery (Adhere to PPM / TPM Schedules)Providing electrical / mechanical maintenance to a range of machinery including, but not limited to: CNC milling machines, EDM, electronic robots, large hydraulic robots, wax injection moulding machines, casting furnaces, compressors, automated systems, lighting and component inspection equipmentResponsive reaction to breakdowns, keeping machine down-times to a minimumReplacement or repair of electrical and electronic components, switches, proximity and limit switches, and machine safety guardsInstallation and commissioning of new equipmentPLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faultsEnsure adequate spares and parts are ordered correctlyContinuous improvement; identifying process deficiencies and developing solutions to make improvementsWe are keen to hear from candidates who are -Apprentice trained / Time served as an Electrical bias Maintenance EngineerTrained in line with IEE Wiring Regulations (17th or 18th edition)Able to understand and interpret electrical drawingsExperienced with PLC's - capable of diagnosing faults, repairs and programmingExperienced with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsIdeally from a heavy manufacturing backgroundOn offer for the successful Engineering applicant -A basic salary of up to £44,000, paid weeklyMonetary bonus scheme for all employees paid on a quarterly basis (normally between 5-12% of salary)Paid overtime available during the weekDC pension scheme with matched contributions up to 7.5% of salary25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays - accruing an additional 5 days over 5 years' serviceEmployee events such as Summer Barbecues and Christmas mealsVarious awards schemes on site with Amazon Vouchers to be won monthlySimply Health and Sovereign Health Care PlansSick Pay Scheme If you are looking to join a business that offers longevity, stability and career progression if you want it, then make sure you apply via the link to this advert.ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
