They are a leading UK manufacturer to the construction industry.

They are looking for Maintenance Electrician, to assist with general maintenance work covering the whole site and plant operations, working on varied complex machinery.

Ae Maintenance Electrician, you will require to conduct the following duties:Reactive maintenance as well as PPM’sWorking on all electrical aspects of heavy plant machinery, capital equipment and materials handlingConducting full fault find and repairs, safelyRepairing aspects such as Industrial control panels, PLC SCADA systems, circuits, 3 phase power, wiring, transformers, sensors, relays, PLC faults – inputs and outputs etcWorking safely is paramount, and make recommendations for improvementsThe successful Maintenance Electrician will need to have the following attributes:Electrical engineering apprenticeship qualified minimum to NVQ L3Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principlesStrong Health and Safety awareness in an industrial heavy engineering environmentAble to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentalityExperience within heavy industries, aggregates, mining, quarries etcStrong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisorsReliable, punctual, team player, and professional attitudeRequire your own basic toolsThe benefits of this position:Opportunity to work with a highly reputable organisation, and repeat contract work to meet future business demands/workloadsAutonomy to get on with the job, whilst working as part of good teamBusy reactive maintenance environmentOutside IR35 – suitable for Limited company contractor or UmbrellaI am looking to speak to talented Industrial electrical maintenance engineers, who are looking for a rewarding and challenging contract position.
