Suitable candidates will ideally have experience of delivering PPM & reactive maintenance within heavy or industrial production or manufacturing environments.ResponsibilitiesThis is a permanent position for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer working 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off (4 Days followed by 4 Nights).Working in a team of motivated Engineers, day shifts can be more reactive, responding to breakdowns and line issues, while the night shifts are often more proactive, undertaking PPM, Continuous Improvement and Project Work.Your role will includeThe role is varied and dynamic, so you’ll get the chance to use a variety of electrical skills associated with being an electrician and service engineer.Undertaking troubleshooting and providing Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and specialist machinery to ensure everything runs as expected.In this hands-on role you will be using your problem solving skills and technical expertise every day and as part of a motivated team, you will play a key part in the efficiency and reliability of the production processes.Installing and maintaining all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment & machinery, attending breakdowns, faulting finding and undertaking repairsOperating a preventative electrical maintenance system - CMMSProgram Siemens & other programmable logic controllers (PLC’s)Promoting Lean thinkingPreferred Skills & ExperienceHave completed a recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Electrical Engineering qualifications, beyond just the 18th Edition, @ Level 3 or higherBe an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias with experience of working in a manufacturing / factory environment.You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment where you can roll your sleeves up and get hands-on.
