Calder Limited is a specialist designer and manufacturer of bespoke high-pressure equipment. Based in Worcester, we have a modern factory, spacious offices, and onsite car parking.We design, manufacture, install and service pumping solutions in both safe and hazardous areas for a wide range of industries. Typical project values range from £50,000 to £5 million.We have an opportunity for an organised and professional Electrical Fitter to join our team on a permanent basis.Responsibilities * Responsible for building of units in the workshop to drawings and specifications supplied. * Monitor progress of the build against required delivery dates. * Where necessary report on builds not up to progress and request assistance. * Report component shortages and monitor part delivery and quality. * Test equipment under the supervision of the Project Engineer and recording equipment data. * Be responsible for build logistics, storage of large parts, storage of consumables and work area cleanliness and tidiness. * Maintenance of equipment in accordance with QC standards.Requirements * You should have experience of; panel wiring, machine electrical fitting and working from electrical drawings. * Compex Ex01-04 preferable. * You should have a working knowledge of; the electricity at work regulations and be able to carry out isolations and all relevant H&S regulations and safe systems of work to ensure compliance for a small site. * Be aware of safety issues and quality systems. * Be capable of reporting verbally and in writing. * Hold a full clean car driving licence. * Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. * Be a constructive and integrated member of a production team. * And, you will need to hold a recognised City and Guilds qualification as a minimum and served a full electrical or mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent.What We Offer You * Generous pension scheme * Income protection * Life assurance * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Early finish on a FridayThe salary for the Electrical Fitter role is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
