Are you a skilled Electrical Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Plant Control Systems and Instrumentation? Are you experienced in PLC Design?

As an Electrical Design and Development Engineer, your primary goal will be to revolutionise the sites control systems, driving efficiency and ensuring they meet and exceed production targets. You'll play a crucial role in both designing new systems and enhancing existing ones, paving the way for standardised project implementation.

Key Responsibilities of a Electrical Design & Development Engineer:

  • Design and develop cutting-edge control system specifications.
  • Collaborate with process and technical experts to ensure precise implementation.
  • Liaise effectively with suppliers, contractors, and consultants for optimal system integration.
  • Uphold compliance with Electricity at Work and Wiring Regulations.
  • Proficiently utilise CAD and PLC-based process control systems.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, working both independently and within a team.

Qualifications and experience of a Electrical Design & Development Engineer:

  • Time-served with a minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in control systems and instrumentation development.
  • In-depth knowledge of CAD and proficiency in PLC-based control systems. Ideally with knowledge of Siemens S7 and Tia portal.
