This role does not offer sponsorship.As part of our continued growth in service, we are looking for an Education Administrator to join our amazing team at Underley Garden School located in Kirkby Lonsdale.About the roleTo assist the Head Teacher in developing the school as a high-quality specialist provision for pupils with varying challenges, through providing the highest standards of pastoral care for all pupils of all abilities in a safe and orderly learning environment which provides a high standard of behaviour.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the life and community of the school in all of its aspectsTo work within the philosophy of the school at all timesWelcoming visitors to the school in a professional mannerEnsure all administrative tasks are completed on time (for example, recording attendance, calling non-attenders, producing review documents etc.)To ensure that the school operates in an efficient mannerEssentialGCSEs in Maths and English, grade C or above (or equivalent)Confident user of ICT including all Microsoft office applications (excel in particular) and outlookAbility to work as part of a teamFlexible approach to workingAbility to build relationships with adults & young peopleAbility to work on own initiativeWilling to undertake training on various in-house software packagesAbility to prioritise tasksAbility to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlinesSelf-motivated with the ability to multi-taskAbout usUnderley Garden School is a large school with small class sizes, focusing on pupils and young people, aged 5-19, who have a range of complex needs associated with autism and learning disabilities, including complex communication, sensory and behavioural needs associated with their disabilities.Our School adopts a holistic, person-centred approach to the development of our young people and endeavours to ensure that they achieve as high a standard as possible.
