We are looking for an individual who can create a safe and supportive environment where all children are encouraged to learn and growRole: Drama TeacherLocation: High WycombeStart: September 2024About the role:Develop and deliver engaging drama lesson plans that foster creativity, performance skills, and a passion for theatre.

Instruct students in various acting techniques, theatre games, and performance activities, adapting lessons to different skill levels and interests.

Assess and monitor student progress in acting abilities and theatrical knowledge.

Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and self-expression.

Demonstrate and reinforce proper techniques and safety practices in all drama-related activities.

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate drama into other subjects and school-wide initiatives.

Plan and manage extracurricular drama programs, including school plays, drama clubs, and theatre workshops.

Maintain clear and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and participation in drama activities.
