ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As director of sales and marketing, the person will be responsible for:

• Working closely with senior leaders and growth champions to develop and implement UAPP’s new business cross channel sales strategy, ensuring strategic alignment of sales with business plan and growth objectives
• Leading and influencing cross-functional teams internally (e.g. sales, marketing) to spearhead partnership opportunities
• Acting as a brand ambassador for UAPP, raising brand presence in the market and attract new partnership opportunities
• Leading the marketing team in the execution of lead generation, inbound campaigns, helping drive lead opportunities for new business growth
• Monitoring and analysing industry trends and market competition
• Strategically analysing business performance to facilitate accurate and meaningful forecasting
• Preparing the Annual Business Plan for Sales & Marketing through a structured and strategic approach, involving and guiding the Heads of Departments and other stakeholders
• Managing marketing budget to maximise ROI and make sure that the targets are met
• Overseeing the development of brand identity and recognition
• Ensuring the delivery of consistent and high-quality marketing content
• Representing the company at industry events and conferences
• Allocating and advising on annual budgets for new business and marketing

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
• A track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies within growth stage organizations
• Excellent client facing skills with strong written and verbal communications
• Demonstrates sound judgment in resolving highly complex matters
• Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organisation
• A second European language (German or Italian) would be an additional benefit
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams
