Job Description

What you will be doing?

This position is crucial for achieving our digital marketing goals and KPIs.

We seek a dynamic and dedicated team member who is eager to provide our clients and prospects with an exceptional digital user experience.

The role involves collaborating with the current team to execute pivotal website initiatives and ensure the delivery of superior email communications to clients and prospects.

As a Digital Marketing Executive you will;

• Be a digital champion, dealing with requests from the business and wider marketing team.

• Working with line manager to action any recommendations related to SEO rankings to ensure we continually enhance our position within the search engines.

• Taking content that has been written and creating pages on the website and working with the wider marketing team to position and display the content to generate results.

• Help to advise on the best way of delivering campaigns online with support from line manager.

• Ensure any new components or features that are developed for the website are thoroughly tested before launch.

• Taking a data-driven approach, develop test and learn plans for optimising targeting, creative and marketing messages

• Review past and current campaign analytics, suggesting ways to increase loyalty and engagement

•Work with agency and the brand/UX team to develop a suite of responsive design landing pages and forms for automated campaigns aligned to digital brand guidelines and standards

EMAIL MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support client and prospect communication manager in the delivery of a series of email communications – including service and marketing emails.

* Work with Content team, taking core content and optimising for email delivery (related links, content on page, embedded links etc)

* Extract data from internal systems to be used for email campaigns.

* Work with the Data Protection officer and compliance teams to ensure all new campaigns are fully compliant before rolling out

* Taking a data-driven approach, developing test and learn plans for optimising targeting, creative and marketing messages

* Review past and current campaign analytics, suggesting ways to increase loyalty and engagement

* Manage our suite of responsive design email templates, landing pages and forms for automated campaigns aligned to digital brand guidelines and standards

* Be a subject matter expert for internal databases used for email campaigns.

* Keep up to date with email best practice and latest trends

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have

  • Basic HTML knowledge
  • Experience working with email marketing platorms (eg Dotdigital) and Umbraco web technology
  • A desire to continually learn about websites, email platforms and digital technology
  • Reporting and explaining complex topics
  • Professional Qualifications and Education

    Relevant digital marketing qualifications desirable although not essential

    Project management qualifications desirable although not essential

    University qualification desired but not essential
