About the team

We are a passionate software product development team that is specialized in the development and delivery of software products to support global Securities Finance Trading and Collateral businesses.

FIS Securities Finance Matching Platform is a brand-new solution leveraging the latest Cloud based technologies to deliver a highly responsive and scalable solution to our Customers

What you will be doing

Strategic Leadership :

• As a senior leader, you will help to shapes the long-term vision and strategy for the Securities Finance Matching Platform
• You will collaborate with other stakeholders from parallel organisations to align development efforts with business goals.

Team Management :

• You will oversee the development team, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively.
• You will provide mentorship and guidance to the development team members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.

Project Management :

• You will drive development projects, from inception to delivery.
• This involves resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, and quality control.

Technical Expertise :

• While not necessarily hands-on, you will be expected to understand the technical aspects of software development.
• You will work with your architects and engineers to make informed decisions.

Collaboration with Product Teams :

• On a daily basis you will work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• The goal is to deliver products that meet customer needs and comply with industry standards.

What you bring:

• Experience of leading Development teams to deliver technical solutions in the Financial Services domain

• Experience of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and software developed to run within this ecosystem

• Experience of working with a globally distributed team

•  Strong understanding and practical experience of Agile Development methodologies specifically Scrum

•  A background in Microsoft .Net technology with at least a working knowledge of Angular
