MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Engineering Team with a Delivery Engineer for our @one Alliance (Anglian Water) joint venture framework. Based at the Peterborough office, you will be responsible for supporting the PDM, PCM and Planner in successful delivery of projects from asset planning to asset operation. To deliver these by complying with Alliance Governance and processes specifically; Project Management, Health & Safety, Commercial, Risk & Value, Budget. Oversee and ensure projects are on track in terms of time and budget whilst proactively managing risks and opportunities Attend site to gather information and translate into value added reports and presentations which drive the successful meeting of relevant project Delivery Milestones Champion sustainability principles in design and construction specifically around the minimisation of the energy use, carbon emissions, waste materials reduction and the supply chain Coordinate and manage the contract requirements relating to design solutions, constructions and commissioning and ensure these are always meeting and exceeding Health & Safety standards and legislation Provide a proactive and trusted resource to the Project Delivery Manager to support effective and efficient close out of all projects to meet the clients’ requirements and enable final accounts completion Strive to continuously improve project delivery by closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand challenges and implement solutions A competitive salary Hybrid Working Car/car allowance (subject to role and level of position) 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy) Contribution Pension scheme Life Assurance Health Insurance Private medical Insurance
You’ll work with a range of teams to engineer specific and tailored solutions that are cost effective and efficient within agreed timescales and cost constraints utilising the appropriate delivery routes.
The role requires a good level of general water engineering knowledge with a specialism in energy efficiency, preferably with a technical or project engineering discipline. Through expert analysis of our water and water recycling systems, you’ll consider opportunities and projects to reduce our energy consumption in the treatment process and associated assets, for example pumps and motors.
To be responsible for predominately working with and supporting the Project Delivery Manager, but also the Partner Commercial Manager, Technical Delivery Manager and Planner in the successful delivery of projects from asset planning to asset operation.
