Data Protection Officer in London

Are you ready to take a strategic lead as our client continues to expand?

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of data protection efforts, responsible for the ongoing development and monitoring of key policies.

You'll serve as the main point of contact for supervisory authorities and collaborate closely with Operations and Information Security teams to oversee daily data requests.

Additionally, you'll partner with Legal and Vendor teams to ensure robust data processing controls are integrated into their vendor agreements and operations.

What are we looking for…

• Proven experience in GDPR assessments, policy drafting and implementation, data mapping, and creating Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
• Skilled in fostering a data protection culture and handling Subject Access Requests (SARs) along with general data protection operations.
• Data protection and privacy experience in a dynamic, professional setting.
• Holds privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, ISEB, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, UK Data Protection Law, and a good grasp of international data protection laws.
• Understanding of intra-group data protection regulations is a plus.

Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 + a superb benefits package, including stock options
