The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Protection Officer to join the Risk and Compliance Team in our Bath office. The Risk and Compliance team is responsible for regular monitoring of the systems and controls in place and providing risk management and compliance support firmwide. The location of this role is based in our Bath office with an element of hybrid working available, however, office attendance on a regular weekly basis will be required for this role. The role will be a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, however there might be scope to extend or potential to become a permanent role, subject to business needs.
As the data protection officer (DPO), you will act under the UK GDPR and facilitate the firm’s compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation by ensuring effective systems and controls are in place to comply with legal obligations The DPO will act as the focal point for data protection activities and act as intermediary between relevant stakeholders within the firm.
