Data Intelligence Analyst in Nottingham

We are currently recruiting for a well-established Market Access and Research company based in Nottingham. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Data Intelligence Analyst with exceptional Excel and proficient SQL skills to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to join an exciting research team who compile and analyse a variety of information from numerous sources.

In return, they are willing to offer a competitive salary of up to c£37,000, plus benefits including 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, flexible working, hybrid working and fantastic internal training opportunities.

This role requires office working four days per week, with one day working from home. Please note this is not negotiable so please only apply if you are happy with this arrangement.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis on massive data sets from an abundance of various sources, including utilising a variety of key Excel functions
• Create and maintain production reports and documentation on findings, change logs, etc.
• Identify and correct inaccurate or incorrect data to cleanse data sets
• Liaise with external clients to understand issues within data sources and perform root cause analysis on issues
• Work with both internal and external teams to inform of feedback and suggest improvements
• Support with the implementation of new products

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working in the bio/pharmaceutical industry beneficial
• Experience using data visualisation and interrogation tools including advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, V-LOOKUPS) and Power BI
• Have either knowledge or experience working with SQL, SQL Server, R and Python desirable
• Previous experience in a similar position (analysing and mining data) beneficial
• Excellent communication skills or demonstrable experience in a client or customer facing role
• Analytically minded with a passion for problem solving
• Knowledge of data preparation and management tools including Tableau Prep and Alteryx
