Data Governance Manager in London

Robert Half is partnering with a B2B lending solutions company based in central london to recruit a Data Governance Manager to join their team paying £60k-£70k p/a (DOE).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining strict principles, standards, policies, and procedures that ensure the availability, accuracy, reliability, consistency, and security of all company data stored in all systems.

Role:

• Data Governance Manager will interpret the principles to meet the needs of the business and create and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary and document library.
• Define the operational and regulatory risks that must be managed and ensure and enforce adherence to the policies created.
• Develop and maintain strict principles, standards, policies, and procedures that ensure the availability, accuracy, reliability, consistency, and security of all company data stored in all systems.
• Interpret the principles to meet the needs of the business.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary and document library.
• Define the operational and regulatory risks that must be managed.
• Ensure and enforce adherence to the policies created.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Purview
• Proven experience as a Data Governance Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in developing and maintaining a comprehensive data dictionary and document library.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
