Xcede are exclusively partnered with a multinational business currently going through an enterprise-wide data transformation. This is a brand new role to the business where you will be tasked with shaping the future data strategy and scaling the data governance function.

Role:

This role is critical for ensuring they are correctly governing the data asset, ensuring the business have in place the right frameworks and processes to make sure they can meet the demands of the platform. This includes having data in the right place at the right time, ensuring it is accurate and robust, enforcing and ensuring compliance and regulatory policy is followed, and that they have a scalable fit for purpose platform.

They operate on a modern tech stack, including Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Power BI and Adobe Campaign & Experience Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing the Global data governance framework to ensure data controls and processes are in place
• Responsible for owning Data Governance tools used for cataloguing
• Build the Data Governance roadmap and influence individuals to get it delivered
• Assign roles and responsibilities for Data Owners and Data Stewards

Skills required:

• Experience implementing Data Governance frameworks, ideally at scale
• Understanding of Data Governance including Data Catalogues (Collibra, Alation etc), GDPR, Data Lifecycle Management.
• Great stakeholder management experience
