Responsibilities

• Work on projects that utilize products within the Microsoft Azure and SQL Data analytics stack.
• Satisfy the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.
• Support others in their development.
• Contribute to both the company and external communities.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with at least three of the core technologies listed below and have an interest in at least four others from the core, supporting, or principles categories.

While current Microsoft certifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory; support will be provided to obtain them.

Core:

• T-SQL / Python
• Azure Modern Data Platform Services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse)
• Power BI / Analysis Services / DAX / SQL
• Data Modelling / Data Warehouse Theory

Nice to Have:

• MSBI Traditional Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS)
• Azure DevOps / CI / CD / YAML / ARM / Terraform
• Azure Automation / PowerShell
• Azure Streaming Analytics / Spark Streaming
• Azure Functions / C# .NET
• PowerApps
• Data Science
• Master Data Management / MDS

Qualifications

• Industry experience in delivering Microsoft Azure/SQL Data Analytics solutions, with a solid grounding in all associated areas.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong strategic and operational decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to investigating and sharing new technologies.
• Ability to guide, direct, or influence people.
• Skill in identifying opportunities and issues.
• Willingness to learn from feedback.
• Capacity to help others develop.
• Ideally, degree-educated in computer science, data analysis, or a related field.
• Microsoft certification (preferred but not essential).
