Position: Data Engineer
Location: Clapham, hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Synchro is partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing online digital e-commerce business, now recognised as one of the UK's leading brands in their sector. In their upcoming phase of digital transformation, they are seeking a Data Engineer to join their team.
A taste of what you will be doing:
- Ensure the stable operation of the data environment, focusing on security and performance.
- Support external partners and internal teams with data to drive business initiatives.
- Create and maintain reporting data models for use in BI reporting.
- Maintain reports in the BI reporting tool.
- Collaborate with the business to prioritise and define data requirements, ensuring alignment with agreed-upon priorities.
- Help non-technical end users adopt a self-service mindset for reporting, providing guidance and best practices as needed.
What you will have:
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and providing updates on data activity progress.
- Proficient in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with Python
- Extensive technical expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI reporting technologies.
- Experience in working with and administering modern BI platforms
