Data Delivery Manager

Salary - £55,000 - £60,000

This is a fantastic opportunity for a change delivery professional to become part of the IT data community within Aviva.

You will join at an exciting time for our data platforms and services, which form a core pillar of the organisational strategy, and are the focal point for many key initiatives over the coming years.

A bit about the job:

In this role you will lead the change portfolio for the Health Data Platform, providing delivery leadership across data related projects impacting our Health Business.

You will be responsible for the controlled, reliable, and predictable management of deliveries within what is a complex and shifting environment.

  • Provide delivery leadership across Health Data Platform projects.

  • Engage across business, IT and the data platform team to effectively build and manage the pipeline of change.

  • Work with Data Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters to ensure high quality, efficient delivery for their projects, providing support to individual initiatives to manage key blockers and dependencies.

  • Effectively manage delivery risk within the Health Data Platform portfolio

  • Continuously strive to enhance our change delivery capability, working with a wide range of stakeholders to create an effective Agile environment within the wider project ecosystem.

  • Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to work across business and IT teams to shape and agree delivery approaches and plans.

  • Excellent team player who can motivate a diverse team of permanent, onshore and offshore resource, inspiring individuals and teams to change and improve.

  • An excellent understanding of project delivery methodologies, including agile values and principles.

  • Experience coordinating technical and engineering resource in technical projects.

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching and influencing skills.

  • Starting salary between £55,000 - £60,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
