We are seeking five new confident and passionate Customer and Owner Relations Specialists to join our vibrant, high-energy call centre at our Chester head office.

Becoming the newest face in our bustling team, you will be on the frontline of our business, resolving a wide range of queries from our valued customers and owners, building trusting relationships and having a positive impact on each and every holiday you deal with.

Starting with us on 01st July 2024

  • Paying a salary of up to £22,308 (OTE potential of £25,000 per annum) plus OTE of up to £200 pcm.
  • Working hours cover 5 days out of 7, 9am-5.30pm or 10.30am-7pm

Making up one of our newest Teams in our COR function, you will be advising and caring for our Customer and Owner base within a team where each and every team member is nurtured and coached to become true experts in their area.

Building long standing, trusting relationships with our Customer and Owners, we are looking for those who put customer-relations first and strive to make each experience a positive one. Day-to-day you will be communicating and liaising via telephone or email, finding a solution satisfactory to all parties on a range of issues before, during or after a holiday takes place.

This is the ideal position for those keen to showcase their personality whilst ensuring our Customers have the best experience possible whilst holidaying with Sykes Cottages!

Its just as much about personality as it is about skills for us!

Whilst experience in a similar role is advantageous, we will provide full training from our dedicated team to ensure you succeed and support you every step of the way as your build your confidence and career as part our team!

Alongside professionalism, self-motivation and organisation, resilience is key to this role and we are seeking individuals who demonstrate an ability to think on their feet whilst remaining calm and empathetic when engaging with our valued customers and owners, ensuring a positive and supportive experience in all interactions.

  • A strong negotiator and a commercial mind-set
  • An excellent communicator with the keen eye for detail
  • A strong problem-solver able to think on their feet
  • A friendly voice, able to communicate professionally and capably with Owners and Customers
  • An adaptable and sociable individual, who can stay motivated during busy periods

...although standouts will also have:

  • Conflict resolution experience and/or training
  • Experience of working in the travel sector
  • Complaint handling experience

Please note: This position is a shift rota role, working 5 days out of 7 covering 9am-5.30pm or 10.30am-7pm to include Saturdays and Sundays.
