I am recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor / Technical Support Advisor for a fast-growing IT company based in the Altrincham area. The role will involve working as part of a close-knit team, in educating and troubleshooting any technical queries received from customers. The role is not a high-volume script-based role and would suit someone who is keen to deal with in-depth investigative issues needing a high level of ownership and attention to detail. The salary is £24,000pa with a realistic OTE of £25,200pa, achieved by working towards customer service KPIs. Commission can also be earned when processing sales orders. The Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and overtime is usually available, paying double time. Hybrid working is available 1 day per week after an initial 3 months training period in the office! What will you be doing as Customer Service Advisor / Technical Support Advisor?Handling any incoming customer queries via telephone, email & live chatTroubleshooting reported problems managing the issue, and provide regular feedback to the customer with updates on the issueCollaborate with internal teams to identify issue, and put a strategy in place to reach desired solution for customerDevelop an in-depth knowledge of the companys products and servicesManage a busy workload and assess prioritiesAccurately record all information and dialogue with the customer on internal systemAny other ad-hoc duties as requiredWe would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:Previous experience working as a Customer Service Advisor / Helpdesk Advisor / Technical Support Advisor would be idealKnowledge or experience within a Telecoms, IT or Technical environment is desirable but not essentialThe role is dealing with in-depth investigative issues needing a high level of ownership and attention to detailProactive and solutions focused approach to workExcellent communication skills, with ability to deliver the message with confidence and empathyMust be able to listen well and really pinpoint the issue needing to be resolvedEnjoy working as part of a team, and have the drive to work from own initiativeWhat will you get in return for your work as a Customer Service Advisor / Technical Support Advisor?The salary is £24,000pa with a realistic OTE of £25,200paOvertime available each month paid at double timeWorking hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pmHybrid working is available 1 day per week after an intiial 3 months training period in the officeHolidays: 25 days holiday + bank holidaysOpportunities for progression and personal developmentChance to join a fun, dynamic working environmentIf this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV today!
