Credit Controller in UK

Now we are looking for a new colleague into the Credit Controlling team in part time (25 hours/week).

Main Duties /Responsibilities

• Debt collection via phone, email and letter
• Responsibility of new account opening procedure
• Completing relevant journals in ERP system
• Create and distribute regular Aged Debt Reports
• Complete monthly statements for all Customers
• Conducting regular credit checks on all Customers
• Resolving problems in relation to invoicing and payments
• Reconciling month-end accounts ensuring all cash receipts are allocated correctly and timely.
• Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems
• Daily banking including taking credit card payments.
• Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting to Management
• The post-holder may be asked to take on different tasks as required, and all employees are expected to work collaboratively to support the overall goals of Dometic. To undertake any other reasonable request or duties commensurate with your post.
• To be responsible for your own health and safety and be aware of other's health and safety in the workplace.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in accounts /finance function and credit control.
• Previous experience in chasing / managing outstanding commercial payments.
• Proven ability to work independently to deliver on specific objectives.
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, Maths and English
• Organised and able to prioritise workload
• Excellent IT skills in standard office software packages including Excel
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Tenacity and persistence relating to chasing debts
• Excellent numeric and organisational skills
