Cover Supervisor - September Start in Derby

Empowering Learning is excited to announce that we are recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire starting in September 2024.About the Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education for students in the absence of their regular teachers. Your primary responsibilities will include:Supervising classes and ensuring students remain on task with the work set by their teachers.Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.Assisting students with their work and responding to any questions they may have.Providing feedback to the regular teacher about the progress and behaviour of students during their absence.What We Offer:Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive daily rate between £100 to £120 per dayProfessional Development: Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression.Supportive Environment: Work within a network of supportive schools and be a part of a dedicated educational community.Flexible Working: Opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions to suit your availability.Requirements:Qualifications: A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, but not essential.
