Role and Responsibilities:As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth running of the school by ensuring that students are engaged in meaningful learning activities in the absence of their regular teachers.

Your responsibilities will include: 1.

Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students across different year groups and subjects.

2.

Managing the classroom environment and promoting positive behaviour.

3.

Providing guidance and support to students to help them stay on task.

4.

Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress.

5.

Collaborating with teaching staff as a Cover Supervisor to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.

6.

Assisting with the supervision of students during break times and other non-teaching periods.

Requirements:To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria: 1.

Prior experience as a Cover Supervisor or HLTA working with children or young adults in an educational setting.

2.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

3.

Ability to manage a classroom environment effectively.

4.

Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.

5.

A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.

6.

Be able to commute to Greenwich on a daily basisIf you are a Cover Supervisor, HLTA or Unqualified Teacher and you can commute to Greenwich and the surrounding areas, we would love to hear from you.
