Just let us know on your application if you wish to work part timeOpportunities for Professional Career Development that include funding for the annual membership of a relevant professional body, access to mentors and trainingEmployee Assistance Programme and Occupational Health ServicesA generous defined contribution Group Personal Pension (we will pay between 9% and 13% of your pensionable pay depending on your own contribution)Life AssuranceDiscounts - access to savings on a wide range of everyday spendingSpecial Leave Policy including paid time off for volunteering, public service (including reserve forces) and caring for your familyA host of voluntary & core benefits to suit your health and wellbeing - more information available on our careers siteResponsibilities:Plan, manage, monitor, and coordinate construction work, in line with the project delivery strategyProvide technical construction expertise/advice throughout the project lifecycleProvide management and governance to maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and qualityEnsure the construction management standards, procedures and work instructions governing construction are followedEnsure construction teams are appropriately organised and that key personnel are competent to undertake their rolesEnsure construction records are maintained to support commissioning and project handover activitiesResponsible for task management, to meet the professional standards, performance and integrity of the work and reporting information necessary to support the project and business objectivesTo be successful in this role you will need to have:Have a suitable amount of experience in operating in the build environment, with a proven track record in successfully planning, managing and monitoring construction workHold an industry standard, construction/build environment qualification (e.g.: NVQ Level 6, ONC, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent), aligned to their discipline/specialismDemonstrate an exceptional level of awareness and understanding in construction environment, safety and health regulations and legislationHold a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), or National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Construction accreditation, or a suitable equivalentHold an appropriate industry recognised safety scheme card, (i.e.: a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Manager's card, Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport card or a suitable equivalentCandidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role
