Complex Injury - Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive - Up to £75,000 salary

The Role

A superb opportunity to join an award-winning leading law firm that offers specialist quality legal advice to a broad range of Private Insurance Clients.

The firm is recognised nationally for its outstanding client care and high-quality lawyers.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Complex Injury team it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive to work alongside the existing team dealing with multi-million-pound compensation claims.

The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with all aspects of defendant litigation, including complex and catastrophic injury claims. There is a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.

The role involves handling a wide range of complex injury cases. Key duties and responsibilities will include assisting the more senior fee earners and Partners with various tasks, attending high value client meetings and court hearings. also includes effectively devising a clear case strategy, ensuring cases are run smoothly, balance the commercial interests of both the Firm and the client and supporting the team’s business development activities.

The Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive
• Previous experience working with Catastrophic Injury claims
• A confident negotiator
• A keen interest in working on complex and catastrophic injury claims
• Good commercial awareness with an ability to provide commercially rounded advice to clients and view matters from a business perspective
• A flexible attitude with an ability to adapt to rapid change, both internally and in the context of clients’ businesses
• The ability to work as a team player with a collegiate approach to knowledge sharing and problem solving, both internally and with clients
• Exceptional client care and analytical skills, to include providing written and oral advice in a clear concise manner
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a calm and methodical approach to work, as well as flexible and adaptable attitude to resolving issues
