The role:

Join our dynamic team as a Competitor Intelligence Analyst in Ampthill, Bedfordshire.

This pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within business development.

As a Competitor Intelligence Analyst, you will be nurtured and developed from a foundation of strong analytical and interpersonal skills into an integral member of our close-knit Business Development team.

The successful candidate must achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance

What will I be doing?

  • Manage and execute Competitive Intelligence requests
  • Attend relevant exhibitions and conferences
  • Collaborate with Business Development leads and project teams to maintain communication and understanding of competitors and customers
  • Manage the Positioning To Win (PTW) process within captures
  • Lead, coordinate, and facilitate all Colour Team Reviews and Capture Workshops
  • Provide market analysis to support broader business projects
  • Support strategy development
  • Offer guidance to capture teams on implementing CPS-009
  • Advocate for the importance of PTW and CI within Lockheed Martin UK
  • Travel within the UK and overseas as required

What skills do I need?

  • Experience as an Intelligence Analyst or in a similar analytical role ideally within defence or UK Ministry Of Defence environment
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and articulate strategic fit
  • Demonstrated capability in early capture and delivering output – shaping opportunities and influencing requirements for early positioning to win
  • Adaptable, flexible, and dynamic approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with presentation tools
  • Commercial business acumen with expertise in data manipulation and analysis
  • Results and output-focused
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to offer constructive challenges
  • Appropriate gravitas with internal and external stakeholders
  • Keen attention to detail in multi-media communications and project process milestones
