Job Role: Compensation Analyst

Location: Remote (some travel to Hampshire)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000+


I'm working with a fantastic organisation who are looking for a Compensation Analyst to join their team for a long-term contract opportunity. This is great role for someone who is an HR Generalist with great Excel skills who has some experience of Reward or a Reward/Data Analyst interested in gaining experience within the Financial Services sector.


This would include cash compensation, employee benefits, share plans, remuneration regulations, corporate governance, project work, and more. The role will work closely with stakeholders to support the implementation and communication of compensation programmes, policies, and processes across the business.


About the Role


As a Compensation Analyst you will focus on the data and analytics required to support all aspects of the annual compensation processes.


  • This includes gathering data to inform the compensation cycle, by completing and analysing market data compensation surveys
  • Maintenance of incentive accrual files in Finance
  • Maintenance and Evolution of Reward-built employee job matching and benchmarking
  • Updating and developing processes around Reward Systems and databases
  • Supporting preparation and analysis of the various annual regulatory reporting such as Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap calculations and Real Living Wage monitoring, amongst others
  • Partner with the wider HR function to support with technical reward guidance and other advisory services.
  • Composing commercial salary and incentive package recommendations for new hires and internal moves/promotions (supported with the most relevant benchmarking data),
  • Ensure that any proposals are in keeping with diversity and inclusion principles, Equal Pay regulations and alignment with pay-for-performance culture.
  • Other tasks may include the preparation of employee redundancy and exit schedules
  • Opportunity to support with project work depending on business needs.
