They are now looking for a Communications Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role

As a Communications Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-impact creative external and internal communications campaigns to raise the profile of our client’s work with young people.

Playing a vital role in telling the wide-ranging story of the organisation and achieving business goals, you’ll develop communications strategies, produce engaging content and manage relationships with media, ambassadors and key stakeholders.

You’ll manage a growing ambassador programme, onboarding, identifying opportunities and acting as a contact at events to enhance the profile of their work, and ensuring young people at the heart of all communications and everything they do.

Additionally, you will:

- Monitor the news agenda and identify and pursue opportunities for coverage

- Manage the administration for the Communications Team

About You

To be considered as a Communications Manager, you will need:

- Experience working within communications leading, managing and delivering communication campaigns across multiple channels

- Experience delivering high-profile communications campaigns, working with journalists to gain media coverage and utilising LinkedIn to raise the profile of an organisation

- Experience working with ambassadors and high-profile figures (or similar) – and their agents, from their support of an organisation to managing their attendance and appearance at events

- The ability to produce engaging and compelling materials including press releases, reports, briefings, award submissions etc

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

- Good IT skills, with experience using content management systems, Google Suite or equivalent

The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.
