This role will play an important part and will be the link between many other departments such as finance, customer service centre, marketing as well as the whole sales team.

What will I be doing?

As a Commercial Analyst you will play a pivotal role in supporting the supporting the Commercial Operations Director and the wider Senior Commercial leaders with first class analysis, design, and continuous improvement on data analysis around sales, pricing, accruals, payments, deals and commercial excellence initiatives.

We are a hub supporting teams with data requirements.

You'll produce a variety of data reports and analyses relating to sales, pricing, customers and products, especially at short notice requirements.

You will estimate, track and manage accrual requirements and balances across multiple years in accordance with Customer Discount AgreementsContinuous improvements- covering terms and through deals, pricing analytics, price modelling and margin opportunities,Handles complicated queries within Pricing and Sales.

You will also advise on commercial risk issues.

You will Seek to understand the underlying requirements (e.

g.

accuracy vs speed, internal vs external) and identify the best way to visually present results succinctly and effectively.

Supports the Commercial Director and colleagues prior to, and during, customer negotiations in order to best understand the implications (costs and gains) of proposals and counter proposals.

What will I need to be considered?

Proven experience of data analysis with experience of large dataCommercial experience around pricing, margins products (manufacturing or customer service background) would be ideal.

Highly experienced in Ms Excel- Advanced experience (formula's, macro's)Proficient experience of key systems (BI Reporting, Power BI, SAP (ERP)Results focus and adherence to deadline.
