Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a CNC Turner within the Bush Manufacturing department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.This CNC Turner position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will manufacture of aircraft bushes to precision limits.Role Responsibilities will include:Working on two and three axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.Experience of CNC programming preferable on Fanuc controls.To be able to read and understand technical drawings.To be able to work with imperial measuring equipment.Manufacturing bushes, sleeves, and nuts for Aircraft components e.g.: - Landing gears, flap and track systems.Reworking and overhauling components for the airline industry.Skills and Experience required:Aerospace background not essential but would be preferred.Experience in two and three axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.Experience of CNC programming.Educated to at least GCSE level with good written and spoken English skills.Why Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services?
