CNC SETTER in Southend-on-Sea

CNC SETTERSouthend-On-Sea, Essex£30,000 - £35,000 per annum DOEPermanent position / Full time - 6:45am – 4:30pm Mon – ThursWe are working with an established Engineering company who are looking to grow their team internally with new contracts and workload increase and require an experienced CNC Setter.

Job Role:CNC Setter opportunities with this large established precision engineering company producing bespoke aerospace and high-end automotive parts.

* Set up production machines to meet customer orders.

* Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, material specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting dimensions and tolerances.

* Installs and sets tools, attachments, boring bars , turn tools, and stops.

* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

* Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufactures instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.

* Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Completes production and quality records.

* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Skills and Knowledge.

* Basic editing /Basic maths will be required in order to do this job daily.

* Blueprint reading.

* Utilize various measuring gages.

* Attention to detail and communication skills, oral and written.

Person specification: * Must be able to read technical drawings.

* Able to commute within or to Southend-On-Sea.

* CNC setting experience is a must!
