CNC Operator required for our client based in Southend.The role requires you to manufacture a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings with precision on horizontal and vertical machining centres.Pay: £12.44 per hourHours: Mon – Fri 39 hoursType: Temporary for 8 weeksLocation: SouthendDuties: (Not limited to)Use a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components post-manufacture.Complete all tasks assigned by the Supervisor in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.Support team members with additional tasks as needed.Help create and maintain a safe working environment by following Health & Safety procedures.Perform final drilling of machined components from engineering drawings with precision.Deburr and pack machined components.Perform other reasonable and relevant tasks within any manufacturing area, including Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication.Skills/Experience:Previous CNC experience in the Aviation and/or Automotive industry is preferred.Ability to read engineering drawings in both metric and Imperial units and use measuring equipment.Computer literate and methodical.Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.To apply for this CNC Operator position, please send updated CV to or call us at gap personnel is operating as the employment business
