CNC Machinist in Kidlington

An opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Machinist to join the Workshop department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this is a key role where the successful individual will be required to manufacture various geometries using CNC and NC machinery, whilst adhering to specific delivery schedules and whilst working to a very high standard of attention to detail and quality.

Job role:Manufacture of machined components using CNC and NC equipment from a wide selection of materials,Liaising with the appropriate Team Leader to deliver products to the agreed schedule,Maintaining accurate and traceable records,Ensuring strict adherence to FWAE quality standards,Using computerised systems to maintain CAD data integrity,Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental guidance and regulations,Take ownership of the manufacturing area and associated products,Drive continuous improvement activities,Reporting issues within the work area and resolving them where appropriate,Maintaining the working area to acceptable cleanliness and safety standards,Work on other WAE programmes and sites as required by the business,Support the business in any reasonable way as required, Planet Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
