We are looking for talented leaders with great potential and a desire to progress their careers, to join our Customer Operations team as Designate General Managers .

Help us build a world-class operation that exceeds the expectations of our customers whilst leading your own team to success.

You will report to the Regional General Manager and be accountable for the execution of national and regional strategies within London.

You may be assigned a cluster of properties to support other General Managers in areas like Facilities, Housekeeping and Student Experience.

You will deliver improved operational, safety, sales, and revenue performance, increase overall profitability, and drive improvements across the end-to-end customer and employee experience.

You will be able to

  • Identify, understand, and balance short term and operational demands with the delivery of longer term and strategic priorities for your cluster of properties
  • Identify, understand, and develop novel strategies to deliver against local and organisational priorities
  • Build and lead high performing, engaged and motivated teams with a sense of belonging and community
  • Build a customer focussed, safe, secure, and inclusive culture for all
  • Advocate, communicate and deliver changes in working practices that support local and organisational success
  • Understand, and absorb information from a range of different sources, and use it to make effective business decisions
  • Understand root causes, analyse, and solve complex business issues
  • Adapt your style to inspire, engage, and motivate others in varying situations
  • Build effective and collaborative relationships at all organisational levels
  • Have flexibility in location as you may work across a selection of our London properties
  • The GM Designate supports the Regional General Manager and Head of Operations in identifying and implementing change and operational improvement projects/programmes.
  • As the central owner of all divisional operational tools, resources, systems, and processes, the GM Designate confidently articulates and presents the `voice of the site teams` to ensure excellence in all aspects of service delivery.
  • You will drive and facilitate continuous improvement within operations, including lean implementation and fostering employee involvement.
