Situated in serene gardens, the centre offers a bright, modern, and spacious environment tailored for neurobehavioral rehabilitation. With 16 en suite rooms, two flats, and five bungalows to support the independence of the individuals they serve. Featuring state-of-the-art physiotherapy gyms, expansive garden areas with allotments, occupational therapy kitchens, and a recreational games room, you would be working in an innovative space designed to provide exceptional care and support for individuals on their journey to recovery.Their assessment centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals employ expert neurorehabilitation to help individuals regain lost skills. By assisting people with various brain injuries-resulting from trauma, illness, substance abuse, and more-in their recovery and pursuit of personal goals. Your role will involve collaborating with various professionals, family members, and service users, ensuring comprehensive care and supportYour responsibilities as a Clinical PsychologistProvide specialist psychological/neuropsychological assessment for adults with acquired brain injury, utilising various information sources like tests, self-report scales, observations, and interviews with service users and their families.You'll be coordinating the care for the people they support in alignment with your supervisor's guidance. Ready to make a positive impact!You will formulate and implement plans for specialist psychological and neuropsychological intervention to support adult neurorehabilitation after acquired brain injury. Working as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team, you will ensure interventions are evidence-based and follow best practices.To elicit personal goals from individuals to support and convert them into specific, measurable, achievable, relevant timed SMART goals with the team.To conduct psychological therapy and rehabilitation using various psychological models and methods (individual, family, and group), customised to meet the specific needs of the individual and context, with continuous evaluation of the intervention outcomes.
