Clinical Neurophysiologist in London

Hobson Prior is seeking a Clinical Neurophysiologist for a permanent role in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting data during surgical procedures, preparing patients for surgery, and maintaining infection control standards.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret data during various surgical procedures.
• Provide real-time feedback to the surgical team during operations.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including the application of scalp electrodes and other monitoring devices.
• Explain the neurodiagnostic procedure to patients and answer their questions.
• Prepare a preliminary report describing the recording throughout the procedure.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterile techniques, especially when handling monitoring instruments that enter the sterile field.

Requirements

• Ability to monitor and interpret data during surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures to patients and provide feedback to the surgical team.
• Attention to detail in preparing patients for surgery and maintaining infection control standards.
• Ability to prepare preliminary technical reports.
