The Role

Superb opportunity to join an award-winning leading Legal 500 law firm that offers specialist quality legal advice to a broad range of Private and Healthcare clients.

The firm is recognised for its outstanding client care and high-quality lawyers.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Healthcare Team, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Associate / Solicitor to work alongside its existing Healthcare Team dealing with a range of cases across all aspects of Clinical Negligence and Health Litigation.

The ideal candidate will be at least 2 year PQE and will have experience in Clinical Negligence. There is a steady flow of new instructions from private care providers and NHS Resolution and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong lawyer with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.

The role will include handling a caseload of defendant clinical negligence work acting for a variety of clients, which will include NHS Resolution, MDU, independent providers and medical malpractice insurers.

The Candidate

• A qualified solicitor with 2+ year PQE
• Experience in Clinical Negligence
• Experience of NHS Resolution or Medical Defence Organisations work would be desirable
• Strong technical and organisation skills
• A pragmatic and methodical approach to handling a variety of Clinical Negligence claim
• An ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues
• Be highly client focused.
• Team orientated with a willingness to mentor, coach and supervise less experienced members
