With a growing portfolio of clients and turnover secured for 2024, they are adding to their commercial team.

The roleThe main purpose of the role is to be responsible for the financial delivery of the project, offering commercial expertise for the full project life cycle.

It is the Quantity Surveyors responsibly to ensure projects are procured and delivered within budget – seeking to minimise costs and ensure legal regulations are adhered to.

Reporting into the Commercial Manager you will manage approximately 2/3 civils residential schemes.

Projects range from 50k – 15m and are a range of civils works which would involve earthworks, roads and sewers and plotwork's.

Key responsibilities * Multiple project cost control and reporting * Managing payments * Valuations and final accounting * Measure progress and variations * Issuing notices of the contract * Liaising with operations site team and other stakeholders within the business – building strong relationships * Subcontractor and material procurementThe PersonThis opportunity would suit an ambitious person who wants to be part of our client’s journey.

It’s essential you have a degree in quantity surveying and at least 2 years industry experience.

Our client looks for good negotiators with excellent cost management and reporting skills.

You will be managing multiple projects so it's important you can absorb complex information and manage your time accordingly.

Salary will be between £45-50k plus car allowance with an option of electric car BIK scheme.
