Civil Engineer in South East

Civil Engineer - required for out client a well established and close team based on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. The Civil Engineer will be working for a company that have over 85% of repeat business and a strong pipeline of work. The Civil Engineer will have at least 2 years expereince and will be working on projects over £200m in value across Healthcare Commercial, retail, heritage and the Leisure sectors.Civil Engineer Position RemunerationSalary up to £35k26 days holiday + 8 BHBirthday Leave.Company pension schemeCompany private health insurance schemeCompany life assuranceHybrid Working 2 days per week at home Civil Engineer Position OverviewTechnical designs for both new build and refurbishment projectsAssist the team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.Preparation of reports, e.g. Flood Risk and Drainage Assessments, Transport Assessments.Preparation of technical specifications.Civil engineering Masterplanning.Civil engineering design development, e.g. roads, drainage, building regulations approvals, Sections 38 /104 /278.Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion.Ensure quality control and question whether carbon footprint can be reduced within designAttend design team meetings and site visit.Civil Engineer Position RequirementsDegree Qualified within Civil Engineering or a similar disciplineTechnically strong in civil engineeringExperience with SUDs design, from concept through to implementation.must have AutoCAD and Microdrainage/Infodrainage, and ideally Civils 3DExperience within highways, public realm and the civil engineering industry.Produce designs following CDM regulations.Knowledge of and BIM processes.Over 2 years' experience in Civil Engineering designFull UK Driving LicenceBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
