The role
- Working in the biomass plant
- Operating plant systems including, steam boilers, turbines, furnaces and conveyors
- Monitoring system performance in the control room
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding system issues such as pressure and water quality
- Sampling and testing moisture content
- Monitoring oxygen levels
- Operating SCADA controlled systems
Key skills and experience
- Experience with SCADA / PLC controlled systems
- Knowledge of steam boilers, gas turbines, furnaces and water treatment
- Experience in a Biomass environment or food manufacturing
- JCB license (desired)
