Chief Executive Officer
Warning Zone is a unique Life-Skills Centre and Child Safeguarding Registered Charity delivering life-saving messages to children and young people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
We are passionate about the work we do in tackling the present and emerging threats to the safety and wellbeing of young people in both the on and off-line world.
The charity is looking to appoint an innovative, visionary and commercially acute new Chief Executive Officer who will be responsible for the leadership and smooth effective running of the charity.
They will have oversight of all areas of our work ensuring that our content and messages remain current and relevant to all young people in our area.
They will lead the development and delivery of the charity’s strategic plan and will have overarching responsibility for financial management, income development and diversification, high level relationship management and act as an effective ambassador for Warning Zone.
We are seeking
· An inspirational, decisive, and entrepreneurial leader, ideally with experience gained in the charity/non-profit sector.
· Track record of leading cohesive and high-performing staff teams, including experience of engaging a volunteer network.
· Proven financial management and fundraising experience including building strong organisational partnerships, optimising existing income streams, and developing additional revenue sources.
· High level interpersonal skills with the ability to build confidence, persuade and influence across a wide range of stakeholders.
Location: Leicester (hybrid considered)
Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience

Selection: Week commencing 15th July with second round week commencing 22nd July 2024
