Martingale Foundation is a new organisation created to find, fund and support a new generation of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) talent in the UK. Driven to support students undertake postgraduate study at leading research universities, we believe that family income should not be a barrier to the pursuit of excellence.
Following the development of a thorough, start-up business plan and a successful launch, in our first year we are offering fully-funded Masters and PhD scholarships with five partner universities: the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, King's College London, the University of Oxford and University College London.
Our long-term goal is to establish Martingale as a leading organisation that champions educational progression in STEM and becomes is a key pillar in the UK's postgraduate education sector.
We now seek to appoint our first Chief Executive.Building on a strong platform, the Chief Executive will provide clear strategic leadership, build and develop an outstanding team, refine our offer; and advance a strategy for growth, developing new academic and funding partnerships.

Chief Executive will bring a track record of leadership with outstanding influencing, relationship building and advocacy skills and will have the drive to motivate and inspire our team, our partners and future funders.
An energetic and passionate leader, the new Chief Executive will resonate strongly with the ethos and mission of Martingale and our unrelenting focus in support of excellence.
Martingale Foundation is a supported through the charitable giving of XTX Markets and incubation support of Ark Ventures which has a track record of finding, developing and growing non-profit organisations solving challenges in education for over 20 years.
